As the nation emerges from the pandemic, there is a tremendous opportunity for maker learning and invention education to support kids and communities in COVID recovery. How might we advocate for maker learning in ways that dramatically expand access for all kids, ensuring we are preparing kids with the critical skills they’ll need for success in our future workforce? In this round robin storytelling and discussion session, you’ll be able to explore findings from new research conducted by KID Museum, Nation of Makers, and the Lemelson Foundation, hear stories of success from business leaders, and share your own experiences. You’ll leave with new personal connections, ideas and inspiration, as well as a digital copy of the new InventEd Field Guide--with stories, insights and actionable ideas for advancing maker learning and invention education.
