Tara Williams
Tara Williams is the Event Manager for MatterHackers, the largest 3D printing retailer in the US, based in Southern California.
She is thrilled to be a part of a start-up team of incredibly talented people who are equally passionate about making technology accessible and empowering makers to start making. Her favorite additive manufacturing machines are the Pulse 3D printer and the 3Doodler 3D printing porn as a creative outlet. (And occasional SLA printing to make miniatures for D&D campaigns)
An avid maker since 2015, Tara first followed her excitement to combine technology, creativity and making as an escape room designer, building original puzzles and fabricating props at the in-house workshop of Escape New Haven. She was introduced to digital fabrication thanks to the local makerspace, Make Haven, which added subtractive manufacturing methods such as CNC machining and laser engraving to the puzzle-making repertoire.
She is now proud to manage trade shows and events for MatterHackers alongside the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Mara Hitner.
Tara's hobbies include PC and tabletop gaming, writing, and hiking, and she's deeply interested in languages and politics.
