Stephanie Santoso
MakerUSA and Infosys Foundation USA Sacramento
Stephanie is the Co-Founder & President of MakerUSA, a new organization which is being incubated within the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE). MakerUSA is designed to develop the human capital necessary to build strong student pathways into maker careers and entrepreneurship.
She is also a Senior Program Fellow at Infosys Foundation USA, where she supports the Foundation’s maker education portfolio. Stephanie is a founding Board Member of Nation of Makers and received her Ph.D. in Information Science at Cornell University. From 2014-2016, she served as the first Senior Advisor for Making at the White House, where she helped develop President Obama’s Nation of Makers initiative to broaden access to the Maker Movement. As a maker, Stephanie sews, experiments with 3D printing and enjoys making handmade toys for her young son.
